The marquee event celebrating and kicking off another year of great industry success is almost here: the 2026 South Dakota Governor's Conference on Tourism. Once again, Travel South Dakota is offering a great lineup of awesome general session speakers and engaging breakout sessions, along with enjoyable evening events and valuable networking opportunities.

The Early Full Registration fee is $275 through Thursday, December 18, 2025. After that, the Full Registration fee increases to $325, with all online registration closing Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The Student fee is $75 and the single-day fee is $175, with registration for those options also closing January 13, 2026. On-Site Registration during the conference is available for $375.

There are eight different sponsorship levels, with most offering exclusive opportunities to maximize exposure to conference attendees. Plus, there is one exhibitor booth option. The Student Mentorship Program is exclusively for current postsecondary students and tourism industry partners interested in mentoring them. We can accept up to 30 students into the program. For industry members, participation will be based on the number of students (mentees) registering and the number of industry members (mentors) volunteering.
